The Challenge
When Al Raha Boutique Hotel began renovations in late 2025, their lighting designer faced a common hospitality challenge: the lobby felt flat and unwelcoming. The 7-meter double-height ceiling was lit by a single row of downlights, creating harsh shadows. The restaurant area felt like a cafeteria rather than a fine-dining space.
